Nesbit Systems Inc. is a privately-owned software firm located in New York and New Jersey and is the industry leader in developing advertising and media tracking software for cable, broadcasting and media companies. Nesbit has been offering Media Library System (MLS) since 1988 and our first major customer was NBC for their 1988 Summer Olympics coverage. Nesbit has been involved in the production of five Olympics since then and our list of clients has grown to encompass the titans of media, including NBC, FOX, IMG, Major League Baseball, CBS and USA Networks. MLS is now used at over 150 sites worldwide and has become the standard for media content tracking in the industry.
Since our inception, we have been developing and marketing innovative PC-driven database systems that take advantage of new technologies and cater to the particular needs of broadcast and cable operations and information management firms. Our client base includes major broadcast and cable networks, television stations, tele-production companies, government agencies, universities and various Fortune 100 businesses.

The management team and technical personnel are specialists in understanding and using microcomputer technology in the broadcast industry. Services include software development, integration and installation of computer systems and managing the use of computing systems and products.
Irene S. Nesbit
Irene S. Nesbit started Nesbit Systems Inc. and is the President of the company. She earned her B.A degree from the University of Chicago and has extensive experience in information technology - from programming to management. Her relationships among executives in the media industry are without parallel. Before founding Nesbit, her prior experience includes Director of Analysis, MIS at NBC; and Associate Department Head at The Rand Corporation. Irene is an experienced executive, a strategic leader and manager of the company.
Ken Michielsen
Ken Michielsen is Executive Vice President of Nesbit Systems Inc. and has been with the company since 1982. He received his B.A. degree from Princeton University and his Masters Degree from New York University. He has managed numerous software development projects for both public and private companies, including Mathematica Policy Research, New York University, the Human Resources Administration for New York City and the Nesbit systems support for four NBC and CBS Olympic broadcasts. He is responsible for managing all of Nesbit projects, project deliverables, budgets and staffing.
